Wow. So much to enjoy here! (Omg, the mud pots, so fun…loved also the trivia about laundry in the geysers in the “old days” 😆.) What a fabulous adventure. Really cool.

I appreciate the work that goes into creating such beautiful montages. I've been trying to put some together myself this week, enjoying it hugely but taking a very long time to get layouts that I am satisfied with!

Thanks, Jane. It is time consuming but satisfying as you say. A good way to go through an archive too.

Stunning, almost unreal, landscape photography! So good.

Thank you, Neil - very kind! The landscape was quite surreal in places.

What a trip this must have been Lynn... your photos are extraordinary, Ive clicked through every one separately. The colours, the strata, the bubbling mud I'd so love to see and that waterfall... they so far removed from the scenery of the everyday here. Stunning !

Thank you so much for the mention too💛

Have a good week, I hope that good weather is holding out? X

Oh, it was amazing, Susie (apart from all the people, lol). It's a shame we can't do smell-o-vision because there was an all-pervading aroma of sulphur in places. The bubbling mud was fascinating - I spent ages watching it. Quite a surreal landscape.

You're welcome re the mention 🙂

We sometimes have that sulphurous odour wafting in the valley from the thermal spa in a neighbouring town, thankfully its very rare! 😅
