I am always insanely envious of photography the like of which you have captured here Lynn; those almost absurd and unbelievable moments that happen in nature! You were blessed!
That’s the thing about photography isn’t it, noticing a moment many would just pass by, being curious, and telling the story. I felt as though I was there with you in your wondering:)
Wow what an incredible moment to witness Lynn - certainly one that would "linger" in my mind! We don't see so many here but in the Wiltshire sacred landscape last week there were many hares and a pair of buzzards circling and swooping every now and then. Mesmerising to watch.
Yes it was incredible. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. (Actually, I have another bird/hare moment that I’ve never seen before/since that I should post too.) We have quite a lot of buzzards and red kites here so they are a common sight. Plenty of hares too, but they’re not so visible.

Yep, I doubt whether I’ll ever see that again, let alone photograph it!

Thanks Sarah (and for sharing 🙏🏻)
I didn't know there was a hawk called buzzard... American buzzards are very different looking. But that was one brave rabbit!
Yes, quite incredible!
Great sequence... always one of those photograph, where you go... and then what happened!? Nice post!
